Talentʼs unique character, artisan studios, sense of community, scenic mountain vistas and central location between to major cities, makes it a wonderful place to live. Talentʼs charm is in itʼs citizens! Talent citizens are proud of their town. They volunteer, the shops are cute and family owned, itʼs a great place to raise kids, enjoy nature, be a farmer or artist or watch an award-winning performance at the NEW Camelot Theater. In the past few years, Talent has experienced a period of residential growth, as well as a planned commercial growth & urban renewal. The actual design and implication of this small-town design is currently in progress due to be complete by 2013. New Art-Deco Camelot Theater, new city hall, the skateboard park, dog park, new street, parking, Centennial Clock, improved roads and street lights. Earth Advantage Certified Green Homes, in a craftsman design, are being built at a greater rate then anywhere else in Southern Oregon. Every year Talent gets better!

There are many events throughout the year. The Harvest Festival & Parade (for over 40 years!) in September. The Art & Music Festivals sponsored by the Talent Chamber, happen in spring, summer, winter & fall. The Talent Chamber breakfasts, The Talent Historical Society & Museumʼs many exhibits & benefits. Ashland “The Jewel” of the Rogue Valley
